About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management: - Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service. - Establish and enforce restaurant policies and procedures. - Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining food and beverage controls. - Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
2. Staff Management: - Recruit, hire, and train staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to restaurant standards. - Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively. - Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development for staff members. - Foster a positive working environment and encourage teamwork among staff.
3. Customer Service: - Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. - Monitor guest feedback through various platforms and implement improvements as needed. - Develop and maintain relationships with regular customers to enhance loyalty and repeat business. 4. Financial Management: - Prepare and manage the restaurant’s budget; monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability. - Analyze sales patterns and implement marketing strategies to increase revenue. - Manage cash handling, including daily financial reconciliation and reporting.
5. Health & Safety Compliance: - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines. - Obtain the Certified Food Manager Certificate within 60 days of employment to ensure proper food handling practices are followed. - Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
6. Administrative Duties: - Prepare reports on operational performance for ownership or corporate management. - Ensure that all necessary licenses and permits are in place and up to date. - Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, payroll, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
