About the Role


1. Administrative Support: - Manage the owner’s calendar by scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. - Prepare and organize documents for meetings, including agendas and minutes. - Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, and prioritize communications as necessary.

2. Operational Assistance: - Coordinate with various departments service, marketing) to ensure seamless operations. - Assist in establishing operational procedures and protocols as the restaurant launches. - Monitor inventory levels and assist in supply ordering as required.

3. Financial Administration: - Help maintain budgets by tracking expenses and preparing financial summaries. - Assist in payroll processing and vendor management, ensuring timely payments.

4. Project Management: - Oversee special projects as assigned by the owner, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are achieved. - Conduct research and compile reports to aid decision-making in the start-up process.

5. Customer Relations: - Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, customers, and the community. - Assist in responding to customer inquiries and feedback, escalating issues to the owner when necessary.

6. Event Planning: - Support the planning of restaurant events, promotions, and community outreach efforts. - Help arrange staff training sessions and team-building activities.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Owner of a start-up restaurant. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the day-to-day activities while allowing the owner to focus on strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent multitasking capabilities, and possesses exceptional communication skills.


 Qualifications: - A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.

 - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an event planning or administrative support role, preferably within hands on business or the arts/performance industry.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

- Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems is a plus. - A passion for the culinary arts and hospitality.

- Discreet and trustworthy, able to handle confidential information.

- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

- Adaptable to a dynamic work environment and able to work under pressure.
